Is there a way to lube the shift tube, and gate in the 2000 serie,s?
I like them alot,
But Ive drove a couple, and they were a little sticky at first in the gate,
The 70,s ford,s have the same system, tube shifter,
Do you lube it down low by floor, or someway else?
I like my 2775 it,s really neat, and I wanna find a good muffler for it,that I dont have to pay the world for,
the cab kit wasn't as hard to put in as I thought,
It went real well, and now for the headliner, and general clean up,
the speaker,s are killer in the cab,
I wanna put a CD Stereo player in the hole where the radio was,
the A/C work,s, just needed recharged,
I mean what do you expect for a 27 yr old Tractor?
This thing only has about 4,600 hrs on clock.
So,,,, Go Figure?
I just like to go out to start it up , and listen to that Perkin,s run.
Only Mozart could do better on sound!

Hi Kirk, our 3505 has similar to what you are describing and it has a grease nipple near the top of the tube at the base of the shift console.phill
