TEMP GAUAGES My FE35 was not equipped with the temp gauge. It still has the original oil and amp gauges, that is all it ever had in the dash.Later models came with all three ,good question?? Mine never!Tractor has bee around us since it was new in 1962.

You can go to any auto parts store and buy a single-guage bracket that will fit the 2 - 2 1/16 inch temperature guage. The bracket has two mounting holes - you can hang it anywhere you like.

Ric:

Both my MF 35 Deluxe diesel and my FE 35 diesel have temperature gauges. I have not seen one that does not.

Ric:

I believe that my FE-35 diesel is British built as well. It has a centered tach with an oil pressure gauge on the left and a temperature gauge on the right. It has no other instrumentation unlike my MF-35 Deluxe, that also has a fuel gauge and ampmeter.

You could, of course mount your temperature gauge in a single, automotive-style bracket below the dash, thereby avoiding the necessity of cutting another hole in your dash.

That's interesting, Ric.

I replaced the temperature gauge in my FE-35 recently. The old one that I removed looked to be original. I wonder if MF changed thinking at some past time or if a previous owner replaced the temperature gauge in yours with an ampmeter.

I will say that I do miss having an ampmeter on this tractor. There is absolutely no indication of charging system performance.
