Quality Farm Supply has prices on 3-point implements like, $590-auger, 6 'brush hog type implement $800, 6'blade $220 etc. What should a person look out for? Are these normal prices? Usually you get what you pay for. The sticker says that these implements are made for tractors up to 50 hp. Anyone purchase one of these?
Thanks
Lloyd

I am trying to locate an implement I've only heard refered to as a" bionic blade" which is used for leveling dirt. I would be pulling it with a 40hp tractor.Any info. would be appreciated.

I have both QFS(Quality Farm Supply) and a TSC(Tractor Supply Co)- near me- Lucky me- the stuff they sell is midgraded but if you have time to take it back, then it could pay off- My opinion is when you need it then it had better work right when you hook it it.- Just my opinion but I have been through a ton here and being new to all this I am learnng thanks to this board!!!!!

Lloyd,
We don't have Quality Farm Supply stores in my area. We do have Tractor Supply Co. I buy a lot of suff at TSC. That is not to say I buy equipment there. I would rather buy a used name brand implement than buy a new one at TSC. They are real light duty. I have heard of several of there implements, breaking and or bending during the first usage. They do stand behind them with a good guarantee. Just keep taking them back and getting new ones.

Hi Lloyd,

I don't have any personal experience with these but I have a neighbor who purchased a blade and a 6 foot rotary mower of similar pedigree from a place called tractor supply company - sounds like the same type of thing. Only my opinion but it seemed they were a bit more lightly built than the more traditional brands, and since everything breaks sooner or later I'm wondering where he will get parts for the mower. While I can run down to my local dealer and he'll usually have repair parts on the shelf, I don't think the neighbor is going to have that option.

just my $.02 worth of personal opinions for what they're worth.

Bob
