Will it hurt to run the tractor as long as I watch the temp gauge and keep it at a safe temperature? It is snowing again and need to plow.

Thank you
Mike

Have seen the fan go thru the radiator due to the seals leaking causing the water pump brgs to go out also. I wouldnt if it were mine but thats just my opinion!!

As long as you keep your rad toppet off and watch your temp gauge you will never hurt it. HAROLD

Hi Mike

I think answer is yes...it may severely damage the engine.

When the coolant is low in the engine the temperature probe is not touching the coolant
and transmits lower temperature to the gauge which
indicates safe temperature even when boiling.

I suggest that the tractor must not be used until
pump is changed/repaired.
