the tractor is a mf 135, 3 cyl. perkins diesel with multi-power trany. after running the tractor it leaks hydraulic fluid from a hole in the bell-housing. this hole is to keep housing from filling up and to keep clutches dry.
what is the problem? any info would be helpful

With multi-power trany. It's like Dan says if it is just a drop now & then I would leave it alone. It could be just a matter of spliting the tractor & replace the seals or it could be that it would cost as much $400 for parts to stop that leak.
email me if you would like more on this.

Some few drips here would probably be considered normal on a tractor of that age. Unless it's noticable that your fluid level is dropping, I wouldn't worry about it a lot.

Howdy Wil! I am assuming you have live pto on your 135. On mine it was a bad seal on the on the pto clutch shaft. I put the next size smaller seal on it and haven't had any trouble since(about 10 years). You have to do the tractor split to fix it. Get an I&T shop manual-it explains the split in detail. Or email me for details. Good luck -JIM
