Can anyone tell me how much a Massey Ferguson 1974 150 is worth. Its in good shape, runs good. I"m going to bid on it at a farm auction but don"t know how high I should go??

I saw a 150 diesel 6 speed w/multipower bring $2400 at a sale here a few years ago (2004 I believe). Had 5200 hours on it. Was well faded but the tin was straight.

Gas or diesel? 6-speed? 6 speed w/ multipower? 8-speed? Standard or high arch?

Diesels usually sell better than gas, but not always. Standard (28" rear wheels) sell better than high arch.

A good 150 can bring as much as $6000 or as little as $3000 on average. Anything under $5000 is a decent deal. Great little tractors anyway they come equipped. I've got one that's been here for almost 36 years without any major issues.
