I have a 1949 M-H 44 Rowcrop that I am working on. The throttle lever and quandrant are completely shot on them. I looked up the part # for the throttle lever and it is 763504M91. I saw a lever on ebay a while back that looked like what I have but they said the part # is 763504M93. Can anyone tell me if these numbers cross over to the same lever? I was wondering if the M93 version is a newer version but if it will work for my application? I appreciate any information.

Hi, The Preacher is correct. When MH-MF part #'s
end with m91 they are a combination (whether they
are welded or fastened together)they are M91 and
as a minor change or update is added to the part
they go to M92-M93-M94 etc. If the part is all one
piece they are M1-M2-M3 etc. Sometimes the change
is not evident such as a diff hardening process
for example or whatever. There is a part for you
in Chilton, Wi. The Depot Co. works thru implement
dealers to furnish obsolete-overstock parts. They
will sell to any dealer. 1-800-743-3768.

Dealt with this problem a lot when I worked for a massey dealership. The M93 is a supersession of the M91. In other words, a direct replacement.
