Good morning, I have a little problem was tring to install a fan belt on my mf-65 diesel and there is not enough room between the crankshaft pulley and the frame of the tractor to pull the belt through. Should the belt be installed from the top or the bottom. Thank you any help would be great.

Hi

You may try to twist and pass the belt sideways

You should have enough room around the crank pulley to fit the belt. Is it by any chance the fan blades and radiator cowl that you are having trouble with? If so you will find a raised section of the cowl at about the one o'clock position which will allow fitting.

What you're calling the 'frame" i assume is the big casting connecting the front of the engine block to the front axle assembly, steering post, etc. Is the 'well' inside this casting all full up with gunk? Mine was. I had to scrape out a lot of it to be able to get my old v-belt off.
Cheers, DB
