I got the MF 202 with the loader and backhoe that I was looking at a few weeks ago. Seems like a great machine! I have put at least 3 hours on playing with the backhoe already :)

How ever, being that we live on the west coast, it rains out here, and after noticing that the breather on the hyd. tank was a bowl shape with the screw in the bottom... you can guess what has happened. I filled up with water in my hyd. fluid :( I tried flushing the tank out a few times with new fluid, but there is way to much fluid in the lines to make much of a differance in my milky fluid.

I am thinking that don't want to undo all the lines ot drain them for fear of causing leaks.

My plan is to try and get a few hundred liters of fluid and put the intake on the pump into the "good" fluid, and the exit out into a big empty container and just run everything up and down and around.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
~Brian

Do you let air in the system some how? I am just not following how in a closed system that by putting a vacuum on both ends of the line, you can get the fluid out... Air needs to be put in there some where to replace the fluid coming out.

In the course of my job working with equipment,
we would install a vacuum line from any source,
pickup usually, attached to power brake line other end to hyraulic reservoir on loader in order to change pumps, hoses etc,in the process nearly all of hydraulic fluid would be sucked into reservoir,in your case make sure tank is empty before starting this procedure, and
moniter amount of space in tank as you proceed . You will need to seal off any vents or other leaks. This method will take less time than draining all individual components, and cheaper. ,

More info.,if you do this method, lock hydraulic control lever in each of its positions as you proceed to assist the evacuation process, also have had hydraulic pump sucked dry,so prime[after refilling] by loosening an outlet fitting from pump.
