My MF 271 will not turn over. Batt. is strong all gauges light up but will not spin/click ect.... Is there a safety switch somewhere that could be suspect????

Hi, the 271 is not available in the UK but if it follows normal MF design you should see two wires going down to a switch on the top of the gearbox just behind the RHS of the engine. look for a loose wire to start. If both are attached pull them off and join them together with a piece of wire. Check you starting. Don't let anyone else drive the tractor unless they know about this. If this is your problem get a new switch as soon as possible.
