What would you guys value a Massey 30 at? It is restored and painted with new rubber. I think the guy is asking 2500$. Too Much?

What exactly does "restored" mean in your post? A decent original tractor with straight tin can be cleaned and painted up very nice, even new rubber, but does that mean it has been restored? Were the kingpins and bushings redone, how about the steering box and it's seals and bearings? Steering u-joints? Engine work done? Tranny and differential and axle seals replaced? How about the brakes, were they relined? Is the wiring new or at least sound and reliable? Generator and starter reworked? Gauges working and looking good? How about the original 3-position light/generator control switch, is it there and working? Were the inside of the rear rims blasted and painted before the new tires went on? All of this stuff would have to have been done for me to consider it "restored". If it was just a good original with a nice paint job and new tires, maybe a wee bit high but new tires alone will set a guy back some dough with mounting, etc. Tractor pricing is a tough call for anyone. Overall, if you were happy with it then give him a try at a lesser price, it can't hurt to ask.

Seems a little high. For some reason they don't go for too much. If I were looking for one and was willing to pay $2,500 it would have to be pretty sharp(Base coat clear coat, etc) Other wise you can get a good one for around $1,800 or less. Thats just what I've seen threw the years. They are good tractors though.
