Serial Number for MH44

I got the serial number of a MH 44 from a gentleman posting the tractor for sale on this site. The serial # is 44-GR 25566. I tried to find this serial number on this site but there is no 44-GR prefix. There are many other prefix's. Does anyone know how to interpet this serial number for the year the tractor was built?

I'd say it's a '51. The G stands for gas and the R stands for rowcrop.

My source shows GRA meaning,high altitude,row crop,how ever,1951 serial starts at 1001,then 1952 starts at 1164,does not state how many produced.
