Are MF40 Ind tie rod ends unique or can rod ends from another model/vehicle be used? The part numbers are
1 032 715 M91
1 032 716 M91
and I cannot find these anywhere on the internet. Also looking for diesel filter, hydraulic filter for loader and air filter (part # 1 088 148 M91).

Thanks,
Nick

Thanks Tie and Gramply for the replies. Tie you are right and I've kinda gotten lazy but see that a little ingenuity is in order here. I just thought it a little weird that aftermarket front wheel spindles for ONLY the MF40 are available yet no tie rod ends.

Grampy, yes that is my tractor in the photo section with a nasty old guy doing nothing but warming the bucket. The filter numbers you gave me are going into my shop manual - thank you. Good luck with the spherical tie rod ends; I think I will need to match up the taper and threads of my ends with the closest match and bend them a little. I wonder if the outer part of a tie rod end is hardened - I guess no. I can't heat it so will have to bend it about 7 degrees cold - I will wear a helmet...

Thanks again,
Nick40

Hi Nick, I assume that is your machine in the photo section. Looks good ! Can"t help with the tie rod ends, I"m going to make a new tie rod using 3/4" sperical rod ends - another one of those "back burner" projects. I do have some filter numbers, these are Car Quest numbers, but can be crossed to Wix or NAPA. Fuel filter #86166, loader hyd. (Cessna) #85567, Primary air #87538, secondary air#87539. If your machine has the "Instant Reverse" AKA, hyd. shuttle, there is a filter for that too, Baldwin # PT258. Hopefully your machine is equipped the same as mine, by the serial #, mine is a "75. Ken

I do not think your MF40 would care what color if any the new tie rods have.P/Ns are fine but you might have better luck with pictures and or a description such as Diameter And threads per inch an offsets if any.Other Industrial Tractor/Machinery/Trucks/Lifts ETC.TIE ROD
