my massy 135 lift will not work, the pto works fine but the lift wont do a thing. it started not working only when it got hot but the last time i used it it seemed like it bulit up pressure and blew the lever off a control(i dont know what this control does, but its located infront of the seat and had "open" on it.) i replaced the lever. i changed the hyd filter last year right after i brought the tractor. any help you may give would be greatly appericated.

Sounds like the lever you mention is your isolating valve. In the closed position you should have the tractor linkage working, in the open you would have a supply to tip a trailer for example. How hot did it get? If the oil overheats bi time then the control valve in the pump can stick. Suggest draining the oil to the level of the bottom bolt on the right hand side cover and removing the cover. You will need to disconnect the hand-brake rod if you have one fitted. Operate the quadrant control levers and you should see the vertical lever coming from above respond. In turn you should also see the lever on the pump (partly immersed in oil) following the commands from above. (Done with the engine stopped of course). If the vertical lever is loose because the pump lever is stuck, work the pump lever back and forth and it may well free itself. Please let us know what you find
