Most folks up my way use thick walled pipe and fabricate a front bumper. This protects the front of the tractor, provides a nice solid tow point, and provides the weight across the nose where it is needed. Scrap well casing and recovered natural gas piping are usually available. I have heard of melting lead wheel weights and pouring inside of said bumper, but I think that would be overkill. Your local welding shop should be able to fix you right up. HTH

Add a loader and you'll never complain about light steering again. (grin)

Hi,in the uk there was an optional weight frame for early mf 135 tractors that fits uk mf 35's , it will carry 8 x 60 lbs weight. Inner wheel weights are also another option these weigh 72 lbs,i hope this helps.

Robert...There was an MF front weight bracket/bumper available for the MF135's I believe these will also fit the MF35's. It attaches with 4 bolts to the underside of the front casting. You would want to check bolt spacing to be sure as there may have been more than 1 bolt pattern for early/late tractors. The one on my 135 has 9x80lb MF weights on it. Gary
