My front end is in the machinine shop now. My rear pivot bushing was totally gone. The axle pivot worn oval and the front support had damage as well. Hope you find something better. I called the shop a week ago and told 'em I would be working straight through from the 23rd to the 6th (12 hour shifts) and they said that they would be finished by then. There is only one bushing in the front and one in the back. They are different sizes as the front bushing is much larger diameter. Removal was straight forward. Drop steering arm, remove four bolts, Pull axle assembly out. Be aware that it is heavy as h**l, even with the axle ends pulled. Good Luck,

Let's go Mountaineers,

Aaron

I purchased the bushings from my local Massey dealer. You are right, there is a front and rear bushing. I will share a note from my Massey service manual which may prevent the rear bushing from moving out of location in the future.

NOTE: Inspect the rear pivot bushing bore located in the front axle support. If a correction has not been made to prevent the pivot bushing from working out of place, use a long 7/32" drill, entering through grease fitting hole, to drill a spot in the bore 1/64" deep. When installing the bushing, line up the grease holes and insert a long punch to stake bushing into drill spot.
