I'm restoring a MH 444 and I'm getting to the point of getting tire's for it. It has 13.6 -38 on it that are in bad shape. Does any one know the original brand of tire's that massey used in 1958? I want to keep it as close to original as possable. Thanks Dale.

Most Masseys came on Good Years,However no one has made that tread Pattern for close to 40Yrs.If you want that 45 degree bar you willhave to go to a Foreign Brand or find some good old tires.Might try www.millertire.com Or 419-335-7010 Ex.4 in Wauseon,Oh.He is getting some new-old Tread tires in from S. America. He ships. If you want new(same brands-same tread as came on it)you have about a less than a 5% chance, but you might luck out,so GOOD LUCK.

Well looks like I'll have to look around a bit. It would be nice to keep it as original as possible, but a new set of Goodyears or firstones will be close enough. Thanks for the advice.

It seems most manufacturers back then used either Firestone or Goodyear, but I think Firestone was the most common. They would switch from time to time on the same model too, just who had the best price.
