Need mechanics help - Industrial model MF loader

A couple of concerns I have about the operation of my loader.

1. When I use the hydraulics and reach the end of the extension if I continue to engage the hydraulic control the engine may shut down if not enough throttle.

I replaced all hydraulic oil when upgrading some hoses on the loader. (Wasn't much in the reservoir).

2. I have only started this up a couple times this winter since replacing the hoses and adding hydraulic oil and have noticed a nausiating loud screeching noise that seems to come from the left side of the front end about a foot behind the fan belt (engine side). This sound lessens for some reason when the hydraulic control is engaged.

Would apprediate any ideas as to what I can do to further troubleshoot the problems.

Thanks! Mike

Hi

Engine shut-down: I have MF-99 (Davis)loader with high GPM front pump on a MF-50 tractor. If there is
a load in the bucket or as you mentionned I hold the control valve at the end of cylinder travel the engine will stall if at near idle this is because the pump requires some HP to maintain high pressure at high volume especially at the end of the cylinder travel because it will be at the maximum pressure allowed by the releif valve. I am looking for an oil volume diverter because the pump gives too much volume and the loader is too fast.

Screeching sound: May be some air bubbles remaining int he system if so it will dissapear with some usage. or...the oil may be too thick and oil circulation is difficult in cold climate...if oil is too thick the sounds will dissapear after 30 minutes warmup.

Good luck
