Contrary to what dar440 says, there were only 2 colors used on the 65 - Massey Red and Flint Metallic Grey. Massey did not use silver mist paint until the 150, 165, 175, 180 and 1100"s came out in the late 1960"s.

Every thing on the tractor was painted flint metallic grey except the hood, fenders, dash, fuel tank, front wheels and rear wheel centers. These items were painted red. As was indicated the rear rims were bright aluminum. The three point hitch levers and quadrant should also be painted aluminum.

The only place I have found the correct flint metallic grey is from Massey. Flint grey paint is available from several sources but it is a lighter color grey and does not contain the metallic pigment of the original.

The axles, engine, transmission, rearend, lift arms, drawbar are flint metalic grey, the grill is silver mist, and the rear wheel rims are bright aluminum. These can be found at your Massey dealer. You might try this dealer in Missouri for the decals. Dunlap Imp. Co. 573 785 7522

The site below will have the color codes for your tractor. The cheap decals can be had for as little as $9 on eBay and elsewhere. Others sell 'em for around $100, but I am not sure what the difference is... Aaron

For MF 65 decals w/Multi-Power
www.kkantiquetractors.com OR 317-398-9883
$85 as of 6-5-06. These are nice Massey Ferguson decals for the hood with NO mylar between the letters, two Ferguson System stickers, MF on back of the seat??? I bought some for my MF50 LPG back in 99 or 2000. They still look awsome. Good people to deal with also. For paint, I painted mine with MF red from dealership. I would have to go to the barn and grab a can of the MF gray to get you a number.
