Over the winter I plan to remove the oil pan on my FE-35 with Perking diesel engine to replace the pan gasket. My pan has one of the front axle support bolt hole ears broken off, and I would like to replace it when I take it off.

Anyone know where I might be able to find a good one?

What a shame! I have a brand new unit in South Wales UK which subject to checking numbers I am sure would fit. Unfortunately I think the cost of sending it over might be a bit silly! When you fit the front and rear cork strips make sure that they engage in the grooves fully. Asmall flat screwdriver is best to ease them in. Make sure that there are no gaps at the ends.
Good luck in your search.

Wow! That is too bad. I'm sure that shipping would be prohibitive.

Hopefully, I will be able to find one closer.

I did the pan gaskets on my MF150 a little over a year ago (1971 model) I bought the pan gasket set from AGCO rather than a cheaper aftermarket set. Current issue "O.E.M." replacement set comes with new style gasket to replace cork. Some sort of rubber or soft plastic. I"ve owned this tractor since new. It"s leaked some oil past the pan gaskets since it was about 10 years old. I"ve replaced the gaskets 2 times prior to this final try. Always with original style cork rear gasket. With-in a few hours, I was getting a few drops of oil leaking again. This past summer, I logged over 200 hours on the 150 without a drop leaking. For the first time in 25 years, there"s no oil drops on the ground where I park the tractor. I did nothing different when changing them. I even used the same type of sealer. Obviously, the rubber worked much better.

How were you applying the cork gasket around the crank housing. Were you pre forming it and sticking it on or just trying to slip it in the gap. Did you soak the cork in oil for a while or just use it dry.

Thanks, MF. I will take your advice and buy the set from my MF dealer.
