Hey guys, I have two questions, first is I have one of the front loader cylinders that is giving me a hard time getting the cap off to change the seals. The cap finally turns but the retaining ring doesn't spin so it will turn out. I have tried different types of spray oils, and so far no luck. If I cut a small notch where the hole is for the ring to come out I thought maybe I could use a punch to loosen the ring free. Second is that the loader is great and seems to work well but the pump in the front of the tractor has been changed out at some time. I can tell by the part of the frame that was cut out to make room for the pump. The loader doesn't lift as well as I think it should and was wondering if I could increase the pump presure and volume by changing out the pump. What is the standard pump rating for the Ind. 40 ? Does anyone know where I can find a good price on a pump?

Perry. The pump should be about 17-20 GPM. I havn't had my cylinders apart yet, but may have to. I just purchased a MF34 loader for my MF40. I was wondering if you could photograph the control lever bracket and email the picture to me. The bracket is missing on my loader, and I will need to make one.
Thank you

I think there might be another pin to remove to get the cylinders apart. If I'm not mistaken, there was a post about it a while back. Big Dean would probably know. As for the loader pump, it is probably 17 GPM's or possibly 24 GPM at around 2125 PSI. If the pump was changed, they may have put a smaller one on. A good hydraulic shop could give an idea of the output of your pump. Hope this helps. Dave
