Good Morning! I need some help locating injectors for Massey model 283 with a 248 4 cylinder perkins diesel engine. Dealer cannot get them! Any help would be appreciated. Injectors are worn out. We took them to an injector rebuilder & he mentioned he could not get the parts to rebuild them either.

Bruce, The parts book shows pn 1447146M1 for just
the nozzle, and 1447218M91 for complete injector.
I have almost never heard of a complete injector
being worn out. There is l only at a place in Wi.
if any help. The Perkins no. for the nozzles is
2646826. Try another diesel firm Or have your
Massey dealer do an all dealer search.

thanks for the help Chuck. I believe I found a fellow in Mass. who can rebuild them! They are manufactured by Delphi, & I forwarded the info. to him.
