I cannot recall what a MH 745 is. I am looking at GPs Mustangs, pacemakers, ponys and the double/triple digit tractors but cannot find reference to a 745. There is, however, one person who has registered their tractor a 745 on this site. The engines used by MH include their own diesel, continentals, and chryslers. The first use of a Perkins was 1958 by Massey Ferguson. 4 cylinder places it as a larger tractor (40hp+ or so). Do you have a pic? I'll try to help if I can. Aaron

Araron
The British built M-H 745 was introduced in 1954.

It was later replaced by the 745S which used a channel frame instead of a cast frame. This was
done to reduce the cost of the tractor and because
44 frames were pretty well done by that time.

The 745S was at the end of the British Massey
production line.

British Built Massey Harris Tractors used a Perkins in the 744. It was equivalent to a north american 44 but with the Perkins. Dave
