I'm trying to find out how many Massey Harris self propelled Clipper combines still exist. How many of you know where one is at?They seem to be few and far between.

We were there for the harvest and there were at least 2 or 3 more clipper SP's there.

When the MCA harvested the wheat in July 2002 from the Massey Harris Great Planting at Chillicothe, IL. there were several clipper SP's there combining the wheat. I think they all belong to MCA members

Steve, that is a nice Clipper SP that was at the July 2002 MCA wheat harvest.I found their site several years ago and here is a link to it.The Clipper SP is on page 5 of the photos.

I only know of 4 MH Clipper SP's so I'm guessing there may not be more than two dozen in existence.I'm buying a rusty one but complete one this weekend.

Sadly two parts Clipper SP's were recently junked in SWMO before I could save them. One could have possibly been restored as it was only missing the motor and wheels. It still had some paint and only sold for $10 at an estate sale.I couldnt be there and had instructed a friend to buy it for me but for some reason he didnt. It and the other rougher Clipper ended up at the crusher.

There was one at the Farm Progress Show in Illinois in 2005 - I had never seen one, and got a few pictuers of it.

I have no idea where it came from, though.
