Thanks for everyones Advice, Engine rebuild is set at Hodges for end of Nov, About $3K with transporation. Next question..... I need brakes. Right one does nothing left one grips good but pulses badly. I'm thinking that the rebuild time may be a good time to have them done.

Any opinion on how much per tire a brake job should cost?

If they are inboard dry discs, then they are about $52 to replace all 4 yourself. Plus about $8 per for the axle seals you find that are questionable. I replaced my diffy bearings at the same time. Ran around $20 for one side and $32 for the other. I also cleaned and resealed my planetaries. $3 for those gaskets, but I got 8 and needed 4. These are prices from my local dealer, local bearing house, and ebay.. Course my labor was free, just cost me Honey-Do time... An engine hoist is a must (or you can do it my way but I don't advise it). Aaron
