I am having sort of a problem with the exhaust system on my MF65. I just bought it and I can not put gas in it due to the fact that the exhaust pipe and muffler come up the side and the hood will not open all the way. I bought a exhaust pipe from the MF dealer and it is 1 1/2 inch O.D and what is on the tractor is 2 in O.D pipe. I want to know what size it should be? If someone knows please let me know.

Thanks
Tom

Yeah, it would. The gasser exhaust exits on the right side while the diesel exhausts on the left when viewed from the seat. Hadn't really thought of that... I am looking for my muffler (the horizontal one) and I cannot find it. I believe the outlet was 1.5 inch.

PS I should probably explain why I cannot find my muffler. The tractor is totally disassembled from the clutch housing forward. Everything is boxed and stored awaiting the return of my engine from the machine shop. Aaron

I have a gas engine. Would that make a difference?

Hi, a 2 1/4" clamp would normally be fitted to a MF 65.
