I JUST HAD MY 3 PT FIXED BECAUSE IT WOULD'NT LIFT AT ALL.....NOW IT WILL ONLY LIFT W/NO IMPLEMENT ATTACHED. IT ACTS LIKE THERE ISN'T ENOUGH STRENGTH TO LIFT ANYTHING. EVER RUN ACROSS THIS? MAYBE SOMETHING'S OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. A VERY REPUTIBLE SHOP WORKED ON IT SO I'M SUPRISED IT'S NOT WORKING....THEY SAID THEY'LL MAKE IT RIGHT. I JUST NEED SOME OPINIONS ON WHAT IT COULD BE. IT'S A 1979 MF 275 DEISEL. ANY INFO WOULD REALLY HELP.....THANKS FELLAS

ONE THING I SHOULD MENTION....THE LIFT IS TRYING TO WORK. I PUT A 7" DISC ON AND IT WILL BARELY LIFT IT. WHEN THE LIFT IS IN UP POSITION, I CAN LIFT THE DISC UP BY MYSELF (STRONG BACK)
BUT WHEN I LET GO, THE IMPLEMENT DROPS SLOWLY. DOES THAT SHED ANY LIGHT TO THE PROBLEM? THANKS FOR THE RESPONSES....PLEASE KEEP "EM COMING!!!!! !

Depending if you have a dual clutch or not of you do it could be the PTO disc slipping you can check that by putting the PTO in gear and trying to lift something with the lift if the PTO stops turn when the lift stop lifting it would be your PTO clutch. I have a picture on this site below that show how to disconnect the top link and connect a chain in place of it between the implement and the rear housing to see if it is the draft sensing plunge pulling out to far causing the your problem the other picture shows how to adjust the draft stop bolt to stop that. Hi,Are you lifting an implement that exerts a lot of pull on the top link?
Have you checked the oil and position of the control levers? Also the position of any isolating valve you may have fitted?

Will the arms lift anything without the top link attached.
It sounds like the linkage adjustment between the top link bracket and the pump is incorrect.
Excess movement in the control spring assy and linkage will keep the pump in neutral even though the levers may 'say' lift. This type of fault can sometimes be corrected by removing the spring from the top cover and adjusting but this does sound more like an internal error or adjustment problem.
Please let us know.
