I have been fighting with the hydraulics in this tractor since I got it running, I now have the leak stopped but when I put the mower on the bottom it doesn't have enough power to lift it. Is there a filter in the hydrau8lic system? or a bypass valve that may be stuck? It seemed like it went up and down alot faster and with more power a couple days ago. It used to snap back to the nuetral position when it hit the end of the stroke and now it doesn't do that either. What is the matter with this tractor now? It is really starting to drive me crazy. Thanks

Put the hydraulic in the all down position then fill your hydraulic also make sure your fan belt is tight enough and not slipping when you lift with weight on it. John

The return to neutral problem is because the stops on the depth limiter rod have moved. You need to put the stops where you want the lift to stop, and tighten them in that position. The lift power problem may be because you need to add some hydraulic fluid. Mine did the same thing yours did, I added fluid, and it worked woners. There isn"t a dipstick or level indicator that I have noticed, so add just a little at a time.
