The saga continues, I changed the O rings in the resevoir to pump conection, and it still leaks. I took it all back apart andfound that there is an O ring in the front of the pump where the shaft for the fan comes through. I took out the O ring and will go get a replacement in the morning. I was going to just change the pump and resevoir with the "parts pony" I got with this one but there is quite a bit of difference in the two tractors. The 1957 fills above the hood and the older one does not. The older tractor doesn't even have a hole in the hood at that location so it looks to be original. So, I am back to finding the right size O ring for the pump on my tractor. Will update on progress as I continue, this is tougher than getting it running after 15 years of sitting!!!

My parts book shows the pump seal to be 1/2" ID x .103 thick. Someone wrote another part number in the book. 1000557 I don't know what this number is but it might help you.
