I just recently purchased a mf 165 disel with a loader and 3014 hrs on working hour meter The hydraulics for the loader did not work very well and the control valve assy. was leaking out the lever area, So i purchased a new valve assy and added oil I got the loader arms to the top once and the bucket to roll a few times but now there is nothing, the three pt. hitch seems to work all right but the loader will work sometimes, slow and some times not at all any help would be appreciated as I am new to the farming thing(wife got horses)

I'm not sure about 165's but if the loader runs off the 3 pt. hitch hydraulics it will be slow. There will be a valve to change from internal to external hydraulics. The position control for the 3 pt. has to be in constant pumping position [all the way back and pushed over to go further back than transport]. Don't lift the 3 pt. this high though. Tha draft lever also has to be all the way back. It will not work if the clutch is pushed all the way down but should if the clutch is only half way down[dual clutch]. If it has different auxillary hydraulics check fluid level, plugged filter and other standard hydraulic troubleshooting. Hope this helps, Dave
