I have ben mowing with a 202 for over 15 years, old NYS Thruway tracor, and recently the 3 point hitch stopped operating. I jacked up the right rear wheel and pulled the inspection plate. The levers for draft and lift controls seemed to be in the correct position but when I moved the roller back and forth with engine running I got no response from the system. I ordered the video from J&C on repair of system but unfortunately they don't offer much in the way of trouble shooting. Fluid is milky, but it has been this color for 15 years abd I have never added a drop.
Before I replace 8 gallons of fluid, I want to replace any filters, but I don't see where they might go and the video didn't mention any, even tho I have one that I order in anticipation. Any suggestions on trouble shooting ? I could probably pull the pump and have a place that I could take it for a rebuild, but I'm not at that point yet. I live on an Island and do all my own maint.
