Grey pony serial numbers

Hello, In the archives on this site its been said that all gray ponies were in a block of serial numbers 23149-23853 and in 1955 -24090.
Can someone verify if this is true ? What about the Massey data book/ Could someone explain this data book as I am new to Massey's .

Hi Ed
You're almost right The gray ponys were distibuted by massey Fergusen dealers in 54 and 55,and said massey Fergusen on the side.There wasn't any difference in them other than the color. In 1954 the serial # started at 23,149 to 23,853 in 1954 they started with 23,854 to 24,090.
