where did it come from? 204 worbull - I drained the oil from the gearbox and at the bottom of the housing below the lift arm piston housing I found a square brass bushing 2+ inches by 2+ inches with an inside shaft opening about 1 7/8 inch, oil holes and slots on either side also pieces of a steel bracket that went to powder.

I rebuilt mine with parts purchased from this site. Your rebuild kit will run about $118 dollars with a reman pump nearly $400. Work carefully and deliberately in a clean eviroment with the proper manual and you should not have any problems. Pumps (in every condition) are also available on ebay. I had the same clearance issue with my oscillator that others have mentioned, but it was easily remedied with a bench grinder. The kit comes with the chambers preassembled, new cam followers, and new pistons. I purchased a new control valve as well. Heck, the guy that sold me the tractor handed me a piece of the piston and the standpipe and said "I hope you are a mechanic!" Good Luck Aaron

Sounds like the cam follower on your hydraulic pump. Look at the hydraulic pump parts and compare. Hope its something cheaper....
