Where is the serial number and model number located on a Massey-Harris tractor?
Thank you.

I'm trying to find a power steering unit for a Ford Model 19-501 Tractor (Backhoe plus Loader). Also, I would like to find a Service Manual. I bought this equipment and was told it was a 440 model w/ diesel engine. Where is a good place to get parts?

It is found in two locations. The first is the serial number tag on the left side of the frame; just below the battery.( It is on the right on diesel models and later tractors.)

The second location is on top of the transmission housing where it is stamped just in front and to the left of the transmission cover.

I am trying to figure the year of my MF65.
I am not finding the serial #'s that are listed as year #'s. Where would I locate the correct #'s on this tractor. On the plate on the left side of the motor is: G176 22524 / below the starter the # G176A600M is cast. Thanks for your help..... ...
