Does anyone have have an exploded view of a carburetor for a Ferguson TO-35. Mine has a Carter carb on it right now. I bought a repair kit, but would like to find an exploded view of assembly/disassembly.

I am also looking for the same thing for a Marvel Shebler.

Thanks in advance for any help...

 Re: TO-35 - Carburetor HELP! in reply to Farmer(Ga), 09-22-2006 17:29:07
I just finished installing the newly repaired Carter carb kit, and now, I have no power. Before I did anything, the tractor wouldn't idle at lower RPMs, and was a chore to start. Now, it fires right up, but putt-putt-putts until I throttle back and let it recover, then it starts sounding better. Then, if I try to put it in 3-HI, it putt-putt-putts again and sputters and nearly dies, until I take it out of gear and throttle back a little to let it recover. It sounds like it is getting too much gas now or something. I had both set screws set at 1.5 turns out. At full throttle, I adjusted the power screw in all the way until it started to die, then backed it off till it sounded the best (about 1-1/4 turns). Soon as I put a load on it (3-HI), it acted the same way? I am puzzled... any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
ScottF

When you adjust the main jet, screw the power jet adjsuting screw in completely (engine off)but don't jam it down tight, just make contact and then screw it out about 1-1/4 turns. Start it up and let it warm up then accellerate the engine. If it coughs or sputters, try alternately leaning/enriching it by a sixteenth of a turn to see if it improves but don't go below one full turn out.
