Finally got rid of my 2 MH 30"s, and managed to keep the 4 mainline Masseys running for the farm work. The old Fergie is still running fine,BUT when I was up in Carson"s the other day, getting a coil for the 9n"er, I spotted a forlone face in the back row, in need of a good home and some TLC. MF 35 Diesel, bout 63 model, tin and all excellent, some motor work to do. Traded a snowblower and small amount of cash for it. Wife hasn"t said when she"ll start talking to me again. In the meantime. I"ve got something to occupy my time.

Rod: Bush hog is heavy duty, not bad shape but needs some welding , it is best to look at it. Give me a call @ 613-283-4937, I'll give you directions. I had it sold to a guy in Ompah for $300.00 but he never came to pick it up. It' sitting in my yard waiting for my attention. I bought a new one so I really don't need this one, that will please the wife. One less thing to trip over in yard!

Problem is that wives don't understand tractor math. Broken NI 5209 Discbine Add one Allis Mow-conditioner, subtract $800.00
Fix NI 5209 Discbine Sell one Allis Mo/co for $1200.00
Guy Gives $400.00 down, balance later
Later never comes, take Sno-blower & Rotary Mower in lieu of cash.
Trade snoblower and above cash for MF 35 tractor
keep rotary mower.
Therefore one can say that it all adds up. My 35 cost me $800.00, and I've got a mower for the tractor.

Last month a 65 gas hi-arch sold for $400.00 at a farm sale near here. Little rough but lots of life left in the old girl. MF 410 combine -- $350.00, Ford 8000 - $700.00, Ford 9000 - $500
No I didn't buy a thing, got my eye on a MF 150 D, saving my green stamps for that one.

What's the rotary mower like? Mine has a howling bearing and I need to trim around 4000 trees before freeze-up.

(I'm assuming Carson's is in Perth, Ontario.)
