Does anyone have a source, other than a Massey dealership, for a replacement muffler for a Massey 2745? Can they be re-skinned? If so, is there a source for this?

I had to replace the muffler on my 3545 this summer. New from Agco was around $400. A John Deere muffler has the same size flange, cost only $100. The JD flange style might work on the 2745.

We looked and could not find one for our 2705 so we reskinned the old one ourselves. I was a lot of monkeying around but it turned out OK.

I wish now that I would have tried straight piping it first.

I bought one for my 1150 @ Tractor Supply. They had to order it for me, but was 1/4 the price from Massey.
