I may have already messed up. I bought a supposed to be MH pony belly mount sickle mower. But when I went to pick it up the guy actually has a Pacer, even though he about swears its a Pony.

Will a Pacer mower fit a Pony model?

Is there any chance one of you guys could help me come up with the front upper mount plate that bolts to the right hand foot rest? The mower was supposed to be "all there" but he had repainted the tractor with that bracket still on it.

Or could one of you guys send me a tracing of your bracket?

Also, also, the rear mount bar- its about 5/8" thick and sloted on the upper end. On his tractor the slotted end bolted to an angle iron on the right hand rear rockshaft pivot mount. On mine as far as I can tell that mount is cast with no mounting hole. Will everything line up so I can just drill a hole in mine?

Lastly, the large bar that runs diagonally from the shaft to the large yoke that holds the cutter bar is loose in that big yoke. The whole bar can turn 90 degrees at least and looks like its threaded on the outer end. I know you are supposed to be able to turn the yoke so the cutter bar has the correct angle of "attack" but how do you lock it in that position?

Thanks! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kelvin

I think I may have the mount that you are looking for. if its the piece that bolts onto the tractor frame, then I do have one. $10 plus shipping.

Kelvin,
I can help you, but need to be able to send you items via email. I understand the sickle bar mower will fit either Pony or Pacer, but have never tried a Pacer since I only have the Pony. I can send you pictures and dimensions of what those brackets are. I can also send you a .pdf file of the mounting instructions. That big bar should be loose in the big yolk, since the angle of attack does need to be changed. Us little red tractor guys gotta stick together after all!

...the classifieds, I have an old one for sale, mostly parts. Yes, it will fit the Pony, or so I've been told. I would have to look at it again to get an idea of all the connections. BTW, what was the "asking" price for the mower, if you don't mind.

$250 that is NC prices. I've noticed that midwest prices overall are lower. Except PA and Michigan.

Are you selling that mount or the whole mower?

Thanks for your reply.
Kelvin.

The whole mower, or what's left of it, has all the mounting stuff, no pulley or belt, missing guards. $50. in KY.
