Hoping someone can help, I'm about halfway through a pasture regrading job, and my 240 got stuck in 4th gear as I was shifting into reverse. This is a 4 speed with hi/lo. From what I see, it looks like 4th is in the center gate. I have tried rocking it back and fourth with pressure on the gear shift, no luck. I am already running behind and have several jobs booked this fall . I'm hoping I don't have to pull the top cover to fix it, looks like a bear.Any help greatly appreciated. Dave

Type in "stuck in gear" or similar in the search window above and carefully read what comes up, especially Big Dean"s advice. Go to his website for more info. Involves a large screwdriver through the trany filler hole.
