I thought that perhaps the TO 35 designation was a Harry Furguson tractor only and that all Massey Ferguson 35's would have the MF 35 designation. My tractor has both a "Ferguson 35" emblem on each side of the hood and a TO 35 designation on the serial number plate along with being painted the correct colors (Red and Grey) for a Massey Ferguson and has the "Massey Ferguson 35 Deluxe" decals on the hood.

Yes, indeed. As Mark said, the Deluxe version has more bells and whistles than the regular version. I have a MF-35 Deluxe, which is nearly identical to the TO-35 Deluxe. Mine has power adjust rims and power steering. I believe that the rims were included with the deluxe package but I am not sure about the power steering.

Again, like Mark said, a great tractor, especially those with the Perkins diesel engine.

Dean: Power adjust rims? What do you mean by this option. I have a MF 35 Diesel Deluxe. It has a High speed transmission option. Hi/Low on the housing plus a High speed electrical switch on sheet metal near the steering wheel. It also has power steering.

Charley:

Power adjust rims allow you to adjust the tread width without jacking up the tractor by using the tractor's own power to spin the rims in or out, sort of like the threads on a bolt. These rims do not have the 6 loops for bolting to the wheel center but rather have 4 spiral rails that slide in the 4 clamps bolted to the wheel center.

Simply loosen the 4 clamps, put the tractor in either low 1 or low reverse, lightly hold the brake on the opposite side, let the clutch out, and spin the rims in or out as the tractor moves slowly forward or backward.

I think these were standard on the MF-35 Deluxe with 28" tires but could be wrong.

If you have not seen these, look at any Allis Chalmers WD or WD45. They all had them.

The answer would be a BIG YES!
Possibly the most popular and best smaller tractor ever made. There was a standard and a Deluxe. The Deluxe came with more guages (Tach, oil, ammeter, and H2O) Also had a larger seat with cushion, but most important was the Deluxes' were equipped with the 2 stage clutch or "live p.t.o" which allowed the operator the luxury of stopping tractor AND allowing p.t.o. to continue running. Others will add their favorite ideas for the TO 35 Deluxe. A wonderful tractor.PERIOD>
