I Just purchased a 1959 TO-35 With 3 point hydraulics. I had to replace the internal pump. My question is, My draft control lever is missing, the rod to
the draft adjustment is not moving the lever with any resistance. Do I need the draft functioning to use accessories such as a box scraper Auger ETC. I will not be plowing.

Help anybody

Yes it is very handy for some implements. Anything that digs in. If your scraper digs in then the draft control will release the tension by raising the implement. This is why the early grey fergies of 18hp could operate similar equipment to much larger tractors of 40hp not equiped with draft control. I have a 5 spring chisel plough we used to use with a 40hp Nuffield. It required depth control wheels to be fitted to maintain a constant height. With my MF135 it does not require the depth control wheels as draft control does the work. If you need help getting the draft control operational then read Big Deans web site as to how it all hangs together.
