Have a mf285 with matched mf245 loader and am having problem with the front end connection point and hydraulic steering cylinder tie rod ends breaking thanks to "grabber" that I'm using to heft round bales. Need suggestion as to how to "beef-up" the front end as to eliminate this major problem. Any thoughts????

You might try big smooth floatation implement tires. Something like 11L-16 on 8" wide rims or something bigger. They will turn a lot easier than narrow ribbed tires and might not sink in as much in dirt. You might avoid turning unless the front wheels are rolling. I know both techniques helped my MF-135 with 236 loader hauling round bales from the side (with a chain to hold the bale in the bucket. Trouble was, with the back tires full of chloride solution and a 6 cubic foot dirt on the three point heaped with dirt, the back wheels only touched half the time. I decided it was too unhealthy for the front axle to balance the tractor on it and quit moving round bales.
