Hello, I am not very informed on the MF tractors at this point. Trying to pinpoint the age of a 35.
The tag next to the steering wheel has "S149626" stamped on it. The engine also has a tag. Numbers on that tag seem to match the numbers on the block. "Z134 A600M". Castings are grey, hood is red. I was told "I think it is a 1960 model"

Also this unit has been stored for quite a while. Has not been started in about 2 years. Appears to be in great shape. Odometer says 21000+ miles. Any help. Also interested in what I should expect to pay for this unit.

Thanks from a 2N owner!

One more thing, that odometer, on what MF calls the 'tractometer,' doesn't show miles but hours. Probably you knew that. 21k is not a low number.

I'm having trouble pinpointing your serial number. The numbers starting with 149... normally are for a 1955 TO-35 Ferguson, not a "Massey Ferguson." The 134 gas engine was used in the TO-35 and the F-40 Fergusons and in the gas MF35 Massey Ferguson. You can't go too much by color as they were often repainted. If you can determine the original color, that might help. You can look at the serial number list on the left column on this page and check it out for yourself. Perhaps there is something I didn't see properly. If the tractor does not have a two stage clutch (live PTO), then that pretty well solidifies it as a TO-35. But if it does have live PTO, that doesn't tell us anything as the TO-35 sometimes had live PTO and the others always did, to my knowledge. Not sure I've helped you....
