My brother bought a MF 135, everything works good but the three point hitch will not operate. I've benn told it will cost about $600-700 to repair. Is this something that we could do ourself. What should we look for. Looking for suggestions. Thanks

Interesting, does your arms lift ok ? I have model 2135U with similar problem, cost $500.00 to repair in shop. They made a bracket and locked down assembly holding top 3-point shaft.

Also the PTO clutch disc slipping or the hub tore out of it will cause the lift not to raise put the pto in engine speed and check to see if it stops turning when you try to raise the lift. If I can be of further help email me

Does your 3pt. work at all? There is a side cover on the side of the transmission that your can remove. It is round. Check to see if the roller has slipped out of the yoke. This controls your lift. Also, see if the pressure relief on the pump is there. I have seen those break off. There is also a chance that your hydraulic pump has failed. These pumps use steel rings on the pistons and sometimes they braek. Also the seals on the piston in the top deck may be leaking by.
