Fluid is going into engine crankcase. Is this hard to fix? Thanks for any help or advise.

Thank you Big Dean. I have the seal and gasket and hope that the new seal will resolve the problem. Normally, how long would it take to replace the seal? Thank you again for your reply. Rick Young

The front seal is leaking in the power steering pump. If I remember right on the pump used on the MF285 you can remove the pump. Then remove the drive gear from the shaft. Pop the old seal out if it has not already blew out and install a new one. If the pump body is worn very much where the shaft runs in the front part of the pump the seal probably will not last very long. If it goes out again right away you just as well go ahead and replace the pump. They do not have bushing where the shaft runs. Hope this helps
