A friend of mine just purchased a Massey Ferguson tractor with a 4cyl Perkins in it. The Block ID# is LD22052N1070
The tractor Serial # is 9A258862.
If anyone knows anything about this tractor ie. Model,Year etc. it would be very much unappreciated

The serial 9A 258862 would be for a tractor built in 1978 but it will not tell what model it is. All MF tractors from the MF255 through the MF285 would have that serial number. The engine should have the model and serial number stamped in a machined area just below the head like this for the AD4-236 engine 236UA????? ? and like this for an AD4-248 engine 248UA????? it could be an AD4-203 or AD4-318 If you can find the engine model number I can narrow it down to one or two models.

The engine is a AD4-236.
