can anyone tell me what to look at as a probable cause for my 3 point hitch not going down. Last two owners of this tractor never used the three point and that goes back 30 years. maybe something is stuck?thanks

Dean

On the top left hand side of the differential housing there is a knurled knob pointing forward it must be turned out for the three point hitch to work. It is also possible that the control valve is stuck, but check the lock valve first.

Not exactly sure about the MF85 but my MF690 has a method to set the position control and draft control so as to lock in the up position. Refer to your Operator Manual about these 2 controls. Tom
