65 transmission cover stuck

On my 65 Diesel, I can't seem to get the transmission cover/steering gearbox to come loose from the tractor. Tractor shifts okay, but I want to replace the cover gasket. Tried prying at the front of the cover and hammering gently around the edges. Both gearshifts are in neutral. Is there something I'm missing.

There's a little standpipe that goes from the cover down into the hyd. pump. That was the rascal was holding my cover on. There's a small cover with a couple of bolts right on top. Pull that off, remove the standpipe and she oughta pull free.

He is removing the tranny cover, not the hydraulic cover. Wish I could be more help, but I have never removed this cover.
