OK, to whoever,s listening?
I gave up on that belarus 1500,
to far to get part,s for,eg,.(Canada),
Sooo,I thought Massey 760 w/ the V8 in it,
Ok, Ive heard about the thing on the Massey,s
where you have to clean the chaff from the exhaust every morning,or It might catch fire?
I dont know if this is true or not?
I would cut people,s field,s for them without having to hassle my own,

I've spent a hell of a lot of time on MF combines, and specifically a 750.

I have never heard that they were any more prone to fires than any other combine.

The only 750 that I know of that caught fire had a bearing go out. The guy didn't realize it, and it got hot enough to throw sparks onto a dry cornfield.

Whoa man,what a trip,
Those bearing,s get hot sometime,s,
but not like that,
Somebody was having too many highball,s,
and threw out a bunch of crap that didnt make any sense,
Yea , I thought It was a fallacy, or some of that made up garbage that goes around like bad trash,
Im looking for one,and I ran a V8 once, really liked it alot,
Man,what a stud combine to be sure!
I knew that the last time I saw one, that it was for me,
I like the lever control,s on the older ones
compared to the switche,s of the newer ones,
Much easier to operate than guessing how much to move header, or the reel,
It dont look as cool , but it work,s better I think,
Thanks alot for getting back to me on this ok,
Keep in touch,
Kirk C,

I was there right after the combine caught fire, and have known the operator most all my life. I have no doubt that he was telling the truth.

Hi Boss,
Are you telling me not to get an older machine
like a massey?
If their that bad, than what do i do?
I was thinking all along that they were pretty good combine,s, and they would work well, Ive seen a few of them in the field,s,
and they cut really good, or as good as any other combine out there,
I had just heard that the manual said clean straw from the engine compartment every morning, but that,s with any of em, No different.
Thank,s Alot for getting back to me,
kirk C,

To Phillip D,
mann you got that right,
I do just that Phil, and nothing more,
If I found a massey 760 that had decent hrs on it,
than Id get it in a new york minute
I looked at this Belarus 1500, but you have to get part,s out of Canada,
Cool combine though, nice cab roomy, good control,s,comfy too,
I just wish it didnt come out of canada,
originally from Minsk In Russia,
This one had a reel on the header, and the other,s I seen have a low scooper type header
simialar to scooping up hay like a Baler,
Thank,s alot for getting back to me on this Phil,
Take It easy,
Combine Nut,
Kirk C,
