Well the massey dealer came back out to look at my grandfather's 65 Diesel again. My grandmother made the decision to pirate the injection pump off of the other 65 that was running, but in VERY severe need of a rebuild. So I have one good one now. The one that is no longer running has a control valve for the three point and one remote where the transfer plate would be. I want to swap this valve to the other tractor. Do I just need a new gasket for the transfer plate, or does using the valve require a special gasket?

No gasket but there is one o ring in cover and 2
on the pressure tube. Need 3 p/n 195561m1 and most tubes had 2-l95 874M1 back up rings. When you
take the valve off the pressure tube may or may not come with the cover. If it comes out use care
putting the pipe back in so it doesn't slip down,
then you will have to take off a side cover. use
fingertips to lower into housing to find the hole
and then push down w/thumb or piece of wood. Be
sure 3 pt is down to minimize oil spill-just a few
teaspoons. This is not a big job and you maybe do
not need the rings but a little peace of mind.
